RENDERMETER

Privacy policy

This policy explains what data RenderMeter handles, why it is used and the choices available to visitors.

Who is responsible

RenderMeter is the service responsible for this website. Privacy questions and applicable data-rights requests can be sent to hello@rendermeter.com. This public policy is not a substitute for legal advice.

Planner data stored in your browser

The planner can store input values and display preferences in local storage so the page can restore your work. A temporary session identifier can be stored in session storage for rate limiting and request coordination. You can remove these values by clearing site data in your browser.

  • rendermeter:planner:v5 — planner inputs, preferences, progress and selected scenarios
  • rendermeter:consent — optional-service choice
  • rendermeter:session — temporary browser-session identifier

Optional AI personalization

The mathematical plan works without sending your written idea to a language model. If you request personalization, the brief and the already-calculated plan are sent to the server and then to the configured AI provider. Do not include passwords, API keys, private contracts, health data or other confidential information.

The AI provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy documentation. RenderMeter uses the response only to personalize editorial text; it does not allow the model to produce the numerical plan.

Technical logs and security

Hosting, CDN and application systems may process IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, error details and security signals to deliver the service, prevent abuse and investigate failures. Cloudflare provides the hosting and network layer.

Analytics

Analytics are disabled unless the production configuration enables them. When enabled, optional analytics code is loaded only after the visitor accepts non-essential services. The current product must remain usable when consent is rejected.

Advertising and Google disclosures

Advertising is disabled until an AdSense publisher identifier and a consent-ready production flag are configured. If Google advertising is enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Visitors can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.

The final list of advertising technology providers and consent choices will be shown through a Google-certified consent management platform where required in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Legal grounds and retention

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may be necessary to provide the requested service, protect the website, comply with law, or rely on consent for optional analytics and advertising. Browser storage remains until you clear it or the application replaces it. Provider and security logs follow the retention settings of the relevant service and are not presented here as a universal fixed period.

Your choices and rights

You can reject optional services, clear local storage and avoid submitting a free-text brief. Where data-protection law applies, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. A request may require reasonable verification before action is taken.

Children and changes

RenderMeter is a business and creator-planning tool and is not directed to young children. This policy may be updated when providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The updated date is shown on the page.
